Welcome

The Green Homes League is a nationwide organization committed to spreading green awareness to homeowners, schools and communities. The Green Consultant Training program is offered to consultants from all over the nation, and even a few other countries, who are already green or home industry professionals. This training enables them to create individualized Green Certification programs for homes & home based businesess through the Green Homes League. Our organization provides one of the largest, most consistent and reliable programs for going green available today.

Our Certified Green Consultants are all dedicated to sharing the knowledge and tools that enable regular people to make extraordinary changes. The Green Homes League’s first goal is to educate people on what green really means. Our second goal is to help homeowners, school official, and community leaders implement that green knowledge to create safe, healthy, sustainable environments for their families and friends to live in and flourish. We want people to stop “talking green” and learn how to truly BE green! Contact us and we’ll put you on your path to greener living today!

What are Green Homes and Communities?

The Green Homes League feels that it is essential to have a simple, consistent program that can be implemented in any home or community. We also feel that Certification should not be achieved through a fee and a promise to go green, but earned through real green awareness and practices: our certification is earned, not bought. A Certified Green Home is one that has earned at least 100 points by adopting green practices and making the changes necessary to create a healthy, safe, sustainable home. When 100 points have been verified, the home will receive the Green Home Certification seal that can be displayed along with a certificate from our national organization. A Certified Green Community will be designated when ten percent of the homes and/or businesses have reached certified status.
